APPLICATIONS ARE SOUGHT FOR THE POSITION OF DEPUTY MANAGER, EDEL
HOUSE, WITH GOOD SHEPHERD CORK.
Edel House provides emergency accommodation to women, children and
families who are experiencing homelessness. The Deputy Manger will be
responsible for assisting in the delivery of a service aimed at
providing a welcoming, compassionate and professional service to all
residents.
This position will involve working **Apply on the website** hours per
week. Some flexibility will be required around working hours and some
out of hours on-call will be required.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* A recognised professional qualification in Social Care or an
appropriate equivalent
* A minimum of four years post qualification experience
* Experience working within homeless services
The candidate should be compassionate and highly motivated and be able
to provide leadership, planning and direction within Edel House.
The candidate will need to demonstrate sound decision-making skills
and have excellent interpersonal, networking, teambuilding and
supportive skills. The candidate must be able to contribute to the
strategic planning and development of the service.
The candidate will ensure that the ethos, vision and mission of Good
Shepherd Cork are fully understood within the service and influence
all aspects of practice.
